Hello Lover

Where have you been all my life?
Waiting for me by the curb? Oh no, that's so sad. I know it is lonely out there. I will take you in.

You are looking a little rough. What can I do to make it all better?

How about some roofing nails I found at Home Depot to dress you up? Shh....no one will know they aren't upholstery tacks. It can be our little secret.

I'm thinking zebra print is just what you need. One sec..let me grab a piece of chalk to outline the stripes.

I will use my fabric paint brush and dip it in Satin Black by Krylon to fill in the lines. I'm not going to bother adding any fabric medium, you won't notice the difference. It will be crunchy either way.

Feeling better yet, my love? No? You're tired? A little Espresso paint might wake you up.

You do look a little cold though. Let me find something to warm you up.

Are you warm now? I'm so sorry but the only fabric I could find was a fitted black sheet I had tucked away in my hall closet. It is very soft though. Attaching it with my staple gun will keep you nice and snug.

How about some ribbon and a vintage button for your accessories? I will staple the ribbon under the fabric and sew the button on by hand.

Still a little chilly? Here's the rest of my sheet to keep you warm. No sewing required. I just removed the existing cover and tucked the sheet in nice and tight.

How's that? Feel Better? Good. Now let me take a look at you.

WOW!

Turn around. Let me see the back.

And the side. Don't be shy.

Now stand up nice and tall with your shoulders back.

Very Nice!

I am so happy I didn't pass you by on the street. You clean up rather nicely!

From Bum to Yum! LOL

Absolutely love the chair....a few questions...How did you adhere the fitted sheet and did you add fabric medium to your paint?

Hi again, I have another question, did you paint the mocha on the chair before you painted the zebra stripes? I have just picked up a really nice chair my neighbor had set out on the curb and I would like to paint mine.
Thanks so much,
Regina
